I love you but you are disappointing me the more and more you speak out. I understand that you stand by the fact that you are innocent on those crazy charges of attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers to go with but what are we -the people- really to believe. You say that we shouldn't believe everything in the media and newspapers - true - but what were you thinking when you walked up to the guns and were looking to buy? Even if you weren't looking to buy, why were you in such company anyway? If you know you are a hot target and the hip hop police are after you, why wouldn't you steer clear of all the things that could shine a negative light on you? I've watched you speak out on various important issues and know that you are a very intelligent man. I do hope that you rise above these pending charges - and give up the life of an American Gangster as everyone so eloquently puts it.

Maaaaannn Jay is the sh*t. You can't help but to love him. Last night I got a taste of what I am to look forward to this upcoming Sunday at Hammerstein. His swagger is just that swagger, and that flow - Its so undeniable dude even starts to feel himself while performing American Dreaming. He's a little comedian too, making little jokes and what not - OoOOooOo I love jay and every time I get sick of him retiring and coming back - I realize its best that he's here with us where he belongs, on tour, TV and radio - aye gotta love jay - In case u were one to miss it - Check out Jay-Z StoryTellers

American Gansgter Craze: The Truth Is...

Only this 77 year old man would know the real truth about his own life. Ever since the amazing biopic of Mr. Frank Lucas has come about there has been people come all out of the woodworks saying that there are tall tales that lie within the film. The police officer as well as others have come up to say Frank Lucas is a liar, the movie is fake and others say that Lucas is a snitch. Well to make good film - the truth has to be elaborated - nothing is going to be verbatim instance of the past. It just can't be. I can guarantee that if the truth over 20 years was played out in the film it would a very drawn out picture. Maybe the Narco Richie Roberts didn't catch Lucas, maybe it was the NYPD - with their corrupt asses- either way, who cares, the man was caught and he did not snitch. Yes he helped the police by calling out CORRUPT COPS and Italian Crime bosses - NONE OF HIS OWN - so if anyone can tell me - what a snitch is exactly - I'd love to recieve that lesson - cause to me he did nothing wrong against his own only the ones who took his millions. Nevertheless he only spent 7 years in jail, and like a true G, rose again as an icon in the media and in Harlem. He has reinvented his self and his ways insisting that everyone should go to school, get an education, stay off the streets and learn from his life. Now at 77 he's had to make at least a mil off this movie, gets paid to interview, is starting a children's foundation similar to Boy& Girls Club and is chillin with his family once again - If thats not an American Gangster I dont know what is...

Vh1 Storytellers : Jay-Z

As all of you know Jay-Z has gone on his American Gangster fit - which I love - just run with your ideas, its the only way to get things done. He has dropped the American Gangster Album which is better than crack itself - is currently working on his 5-day tour, partying and still manages to tape a performance on Vh1 (for those who have TiVo/DVR/ or any variation of recording Cable TV and could not make it to the box office for those 60 second sell outs).
